Here is some bunting I made to decorate the shed
The bunting can be made up in the colours and letters of your choice. Please contact me if you wish to have some made up.
I think this hoop embroidery looks quite Spring like. This will also be available to purchase. The back has been covered with white felt.
The hoop is made up using stitches such as back stitch, french knots, satin and chain stitch. I have also added pieces of material to complete the picture.
I have sewn a baby blanket that is made from durable vintage cotton fabrics, with a brushed cotton backing.
The blanket has been quilted with large squares.
I made this bag with Spring flowers in mind.
I am in the process of putting together a quilt that will be a gift for someone in Australia. The quilts I sew can be made up in different sizes, and colours. Here it is at the beginning stages where the pieces have been cut, and placed on a large board, where I work on the design.
Some of the materials have been purchased from a shop in Southport that has a great selection of fabrics,
called Crafts and Quilts. www.craftsandquilts.net
I visited Bourton on the Water, in The Cotswolds this week and was pleased to find a lovely little store called The Bourton Basket. www.bourtonbasket.com So I just had to go in, and bought a couple of fat quarters to add to the above quilt.
Enjoy the sunshine! I am now going over to Handmade Monday to see what everyone has been making.
I have been reading through the posts these past few hectic weeks and will do my best to add some comments.
